Perspektiv Blue has become the first company in Nottingham to purchase Xerox’ flagship digital colour press, the iGen3 110.
The iGen3 110 press is at the forefront of digital printing technology and has a number of advantages such as maximum speed on all stock weights <500 micron stocks, which makes it capable of consistently producing significant volumes. It has the ability to print onto textured stocks and plastics by using the latest fusing techniques and on paper sizes up to 364mm x 521mm. It also boasts enhanced colour quality.
Perspektiv is one of the leading marketing groups in the country with the creative knowledge, data skills and production resources in-house to create and implement highly personalised marketing campaigns. The company is very experienced in direct marketing, particularly in the development of highly customised direct mail campaigns. This investment will further enhance the firm’s existing capabilities.
Fiona McCormick, director of Perspektiv said; “Digital print is integral to all parts of our business and even more so as businesses increasingly seek more targeted, one-to-one and print on demand solutions. Our digital print volumes have grown significantly in the last year and it is our aim to expand on this further. In order to support this growing market it was essential that we invest in the very best and very latest in printing technology and for this reason we decided to invest in the Xerox iGen3 110.”
David Farnsworth, iGen3 business development executive at Xerox said, “We have worked closely with Perspektiv for over ten years and have seen the business grow significantly during this time. As a business Xerox invested in excess of $2Bn making the iGen3 the de-facto standard in digital print / Print-on-Demand marketplace. We are delighted that Perspektiv has made the decision to invest in the unrivalled capabilities offered by the Xerox solution.”
The Xerox iGen3 110 is now in place, is fully operational, and will be officially unveiled to both existing and potential new clients in March.
