Perspektiv Blue has been shortlisted for a national award – the direct mail category of the annual Digital Printer Awards.
Perspektiv submitted their iGen mailer, a book that formed the basis of a quirky invitation they sent out to both existing and potential clients for the launch party of their new iGen 110; the latest digital colour press from Xerox. Perspektiv is the first company in Nottingham to have the iGen.
They created a baby theme for the event based on the firm’s ‘new arrival’, with the book being designed to highlight the benefits of outsourcing digital print to Perspektiv, especially with the iGen now on board.
Each personalised book included high-quality images printed on a variety of stocks, using a wide range of digital printing techniques. Recipients were invited to enter a competition if they brought a baby photo to the launch event that was pinned to Perspektiv’s bonny baby gallery.
Fiona McCormick, director at Perspektiv said, “The mailer showcased our full creative, marketing, personalised colour print and mail capabilities. The results have been fantastic, achieving 11.95% response rate. We have already seen ROI eight times our initial investment and have secured additional work with existing clients with the possibility of picking up two or three new ones. The fact we have now been short listed for this award is the icing on the cake and is recognition of the high quality work our staff produce.”
There are 14 awards at the Digital Printer Awards, 12 of which can be entered as well as a Company of the Year award and a Supreme Award. The judges commented on the high quality of entries this year and congratulated all the nominees. The awards evening takes place at the Café Royal on Regent Street in London on 11 November 2008.
